BTS has each released their own solo albums; to celebrate these releases I designed a poster that conveys the tones of the music for each album.
Jeon Jungkook-
His album GOLDEN was released to show that he is a well-rounded performer. I wanted to design a poster with liquid gold to show the strength and volume that he can compose, dance, and sing.
Park Jimin-
His album MUSE is written about his love for his fans and how they helped build his experiences and confidence. I designed a goddess that is beautiful and the center of an individual's undevout love and devotion.
Kim Taehyung-
His album Layover is a mellow rainy day type of album. It shows the connection between his past and his future. I wanted to draw him looking up for something more in the sky while it rains around him.
Kim Namjoon-
His album Indigo is about RM's reflection on his 20s and how he wants to write something that everyone relates to. I designed a teapot that's pouring tea and showing life can be unpredictable and lessons can be learned.
Jeon Hoseok-
His album Jack in the Box is a moody album that explores his darker side and a creative experience that is more personal. I wanted to show that creative grungy side by designing the typography taking up the whole space. With the writing appearing as if it was added last.
Min Yoongi-
His album D-DAY is about finding freedom from the internal and external struggles of his life. I designed a gun that's already been fired. To show the struggles of hating one's self or hating others.
Kim Seokjin-
His album Astronaut is about his love for his fans and exploring themes of love and experience. I designed an astronaut who is looking at a galaxy and observing its beauty.
