I designed a clothing brand called Black Rose. I wanted it to appear grungy but also to conform to both aesthetics. A more dark aesthetic or a more cutesy aesthetic. I added a rib cage that was ripped open showing the heart. In the black version, it is gory and dripping but the heart is glowing to show it still has love and passion. The white version is more deteriorated and has vines growing on it, to show that even in death life grows.
